Intramuscular Injection
Vitamin B12, vitamin D, lipotropic and amino acid injections given by a registered nurse — ten minutes, and none of the absorption losses of a tablet.
Swallowing a nutrient is not the same as absorbing it. Gut inflammation, low stomach acid, certain medications and simple genetics all reduce how much of an oral dose actually reaches your bloodstream. An intramuscular injection puts it into muscle tissue, where it is taken up steadily over the following days.
It is the quickest thing we do. There is no drip stand and no chair time — you come in, a registered nurse gives the injection, and you leave. For people already coming in for reviews or other treatments, it usually slots into the same visit.
What we inject is decided by what you need, ideally guided by blood work rather than guesswork. Common requests are B12 for energy and nerve health, vitamin D where levels are low, lipotropics alongside a weight programme, and amino acid blends for recovery.
