Naturopathic Medicine
A regulated primary-contact healthcare profession combining modern clinical assessment with evidence-informed natural and conventional treatment options, focused on prevention, optimisation and long-term wellness.
Naturopathic medicine is a regulated primary-contact healthcare profession that combines modern clinical assessment with evidence-informed natural and conventional treatment options.
Licensed naturopathic doctors are trained to assess health concerns, order and interpret appropriate laboratory testing, diagnose within scope, and develop personalised treatment plans focused on prevention, optimisation, and long-term wellness. Care often includes detailed attention to nutrition, lifestyle, metabolic health, and contributing factors that may influence chronic or recurrent concerns.
Depending on jurisdictional scope, treatment options may include nutritional medicine, botanical medicine, acupuncture, physical medicine, prescription therapies, and injection or intravenous treatments where authorised and clinically appropriate.
Within our clinic, naturopathic care may also be coordinated collaboratively with our family medicine physician to provide integrated patient-centred care.
